I'm Dr. Pia Puatrakul.
I am a pharmacist and health educator.
My mission is to educate people on natural alternatives for:
- elevated cholesterol levels
- reduce blood presssure levels
Natural alternatives can allow you to reduce dependency on medications, and to minimize side-effects from medications.
For example, some common side-effects of metformin, a widely prescribed drug for diabetes, include stomach indigestion, vitamin b12 deficiency, and neuropathy in the long-term.
Statins are a class of drugs that are prescribed to lower cholesterol levels. The FDA has recently announced the risks associated with taking cholesterol-lowering statin medications.
Some of the risks associated with statin use are:
- cognitive (brain-related) impairment, such as memory loss, forgetfulness and confusion
- an increased risk of raised blood sugar levels and the development of Type 2 diabetes
- an increased risk of muscle damage and muscle pain
We can avoid having to take medications and experiencing their unwanted side-effects by using natural alternatives, and by making changes to our lifestyle.
I offer diabetes management consultation sessions to help people recover from elevated blood pressure, diabetes, and elevated cholesterol levels, through natural alternate methods.
If you are seeking alternate ways to heal your body, to avoid medications and their side-effects, you are in the right place.
I offer Natural Alternatives Counseling sessions to help you create a plan on how you can use natural alternatives to heal diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, and chronic stress and anxiety.
You are in the right place if you are seeking alternative methods to:
- address diabetes, cholesterol levels, blood pressure
- reduce medications & their side-effects
- heal at the mental-emotional levels of your being
- understand the mind-body connection, chakra energy centers, and how they affect your health and your life expression
I offer Medication Counseling sessions to answer questions that you have about medications, supplements, and over-the-counter drugs. We don't just discuss medication questions during a session, we will also discuss natural alternatives, lifestyle factors, and mental-emotional factors for optimal health and preventive care.
My mission is to support you and empower you along your journey to wellness.
In good health,
Dr. Pia Puatrakul
